Suggest you plant those in a clay pot (to retain warmth), put them in the
sunniest place you have, cross your fingers, and hope for the best.  Mine
never bloomed but they were planted in the ground;  I will try a clay pot
this year, placed in a corner where two low concrete retaining walls meet.

As for the clump, they will produce bulblets rapidly.  I started with just
three bulbs at the beginning of the growing season last year and, when I
dug them in the fall, I had countless babies clustered around each mother
bulb.  So, put them in a large pot to allow room for expansion.
