You may just want to stick with the daylilies in
a bed that size. They will quickly fill in and crowd out anything
else. If you expand the beds, there are an infinite number of things that
go well with daylilies. Try something with a different shaped leaf or a
different color foliage to give the composition contrast. Would be happy
to send some suggestions if you make the bed larger.
