Ginny,
The beds cannot get any larger because they are encased in concrete. The
previous owner obviously wasn't thinking to clearly. They are at the
entrance to the concrete patio. I can only assume they were untended to be
like window box size. The day lilies are coming along, but I wanted to
plant something underneath them so that when they finish blooming I would
have something else in the bed. Maybe I will just plant some annuals around
them. Thanks for your suggestions!
