Re: I'm Ba-ack

Jeanne,

I'd give them a few more weeks. My usual self-sowers are just starting to
think about it and, supposedly, I'm 2 zones warmer than you are.
Generally, Digitalis shows the summer/fall after bloom, but others have
said it sometimes waits until the following spring. Aquilegia seedlings
are fairly early in spring, but none have shown up for me, yet...and I
*know* they will.

But, even if your seedlings appear, they will not make mature plants in one
season, so you may need to buy something to fill in the gaps anyway.

If you - or anybody else, for that matter, wants any mixed Digitalis
purpurea seed (cream to pink/purple range with some white possible) or
mixed Aquilegia seed - mostly pinks with a few navy blues, I will be happy
to send for a business size SASE...I have way more than I will ever use.
Just email me PRIVATELY so's not to clutter the list.
