Re: I'm Ba-ack

Jeanne: It's too early to be worrying. Relax a bit. Go read through your
seed catalogues again and call us again in a couple of weeks. Remember next
year to put in lots of species tulips and crocus, and some doronicum if you
like yellow daisy type flowers. They come up early and will give you
something to look at. And stay out of the garden while the soil is still
wet. Walking on it leads to excessive compaction-at least that's what my
grandfather always says.
Yes, you will likely be able to add some new plants. Self seeders never
seem to come up where you want them, or in the numbers you hope for. But
please wait until the end of April or begining of May before worrying. I've
been through this before. In fact I still go through it, wondering what I
have lost but in the long run the answer will be very little.
