Moving peonies now revisited . . . .

Well, I did it. Last night, I moved my neighbors peonies to my yard. I
watered them in very, very well, and this morning they are standing up
straight and tall like they've been there for years . . . . I'm in a
bit of shock. It usually doesn't work that way for me.

I think I'm also in shock because I woke up to 8 gorgeous miniature iris
blossoms - I didn't even notice the buds!! They are a bit early,
usually blooming on Mother's Day - but I'm not complaining!

Thanks to all who responded to my plea about moving the peonies. I'm
not holding out hope that they'll bloom . . . but stranger things have
happened!
