Re: Re iris borers
One way you can treat your iris for borers is to dig them up (you might want
to wait until they have bloomed), cut the leaves back into a fan shape and
put them in a solution of 1 part household bleach and 10 parts water. Let
them sit for a couple of hours. Remove them from the solution and put them
in a shady area to dry. It's a good idea to turn them a couple of times. A
couple of days is generally sufficient. Then give them a good dusting of
garden sulphur and replant them. This usually does the trick. Good luck.
