it is my understanding that an Iris rizone should be exposed to the sun and
should not be planted to deep. I have always planted mine, when moving and
planting new selections almost on top of the ground. therefore when I
relocated several of mine last fall and then added 2 to 3 inches of mulch on
top the rizone was not exposed, but I also understand that in time they will
work themselves to the surface. If I'm wrong on this, please, someone
correct me.
I have a healthy record for being wrong
