Re : Gardening style/now Choisya

Marilyn,
The Choisya 'Aztec Pearl' is obviously the best one in the family and the
easiest to grow. The foliage is different, dissected with 4 or 5 elongated
leaflets not round as in the species and so free-flowering. and the last, it
is much more hardier. I have tried the Choisya ternata 'Sundance' and lost
it during a cold winter. I planted another one last year and removed it
because I've read that it did'nt like the full sun. We'll see !
You don't tell me where you're gardening and what's your zone, so I can't
tell you if you can grow it or not. Choisya ternata is OK in Paris
intra-muros or in a well protected zone , but not in any case in my
surroundings.
