Re: Lenten rose/gene slate blue?

Hello Eleanor,
We are working on the new 2000 seed listing and shifting things around right
now. The listing should be OK by Monday latest, I feel sure.... please try once
more and let me know.
I never know what I will have until it is 'in the bag' so to speak. I usually
have several species and hybrids of hellebore seeds to trade and sell. All will be
fresh collected and stored in damp paper towels in the fridge veggie section.
Shipped in padded envelopes in a baggie lined with paper towel with a bit of
moisture to keep them from drying out in shipment. I also usually trade with
others around the world and sometime have a few left over after sowing for the
nursery needs.
As long as you get a few weeks of 40 degree weather you should be ok on the
stratification during winter. They need to be sown warm, go to cold, and back to
warm once more. Interrupt the cycle and you add another season to germination.
Mine just ride with the local weather like everything else around here. Very low
tech and laid back.
