 I ordered the native W. macrostachya from Forest Farm.  They offer dozens of
Wisteria cultivars, among them three natives. This is great -- I've been
wanting it for years.  They do have a web site:  www.forestfarm.com

I also noted that they have the Chinese Wisteria, 'Cooke's Purple'.  Could
this be the one Don is looking for?

thought you might like to know that Forest Farm(forestfarm.com)lists 2
native Wisteria..Dont know if they are still in stock currently
