I think you are right about early blooming -- same is happening here in
western Kansas -- altho maybe not quite as early as you are
experiencing.   But the constant cold this last winter certainly has
contributed to everything looking much lusher than usual.   Often our
winters are cycles of mild weather -- then extreme cold -- blizzards --
then it warms up, etc.    Which is very hard on everything (and
everybody).  Fruit trees bloom early -- then freeze out.

So am really appreciating the beautiful and healthy trees, shrubs and
plants...
