RE: Salvia hians/Marilyn

Kemberly,
All the Salvia seeds came from different plant society exchanges. I'm
sorry I don't remember which one came from which society and I've thrown the
packages away. If you lived within shouting distance I would be happy to
share a little plant with you. The best I could do now is to try to collect
some seed for you when they bloom. I am delighted to hear that S. hians
will take some shade since I have a lot of it :)
Marilyn

Marilyn: I once had Salvia hians and have been looking for it since I lost
it. Can I ask you where you found your seed?

Thanks so much

BTW - I grew mine in high shade and it bloomed beautifully...becoming a nice
mound of greyish foliage and having multi-spikes of bloom. Nice addition to
any shade garden in Zone 9.
