western exposure and flooding, and purple day lily

Yes, daylilies, daylilies, daylilies! They may seem drab, but here in
my pile of clay zone 5 garden, they are a staple. They hold soil
together very well, and don't mind our periodic floods. If you choose
carefully, they will bloom from now (Roy's yellow) to September or
October! The only color they don't come in is blue, and I'm sure
someone is working on that!

I saw several purple daylilies available through Roots and Rhizomes
called Little Grapette, Dark Shadows, Chicago Royal Crown, Chicago
Scintillation, and Chicago Arnie's choice, - for the person who was
asking about purple daylilies.
