Susan, I'm in coastal Connecticut, zone 6, where the peonies and
baptisia are stealing the show. Knautia hasn't bloomed yet, but Nepeta
'Six Hills Giant' has been in bloom for weeks. There is one bloom on
Dianthus 'Bath's Pink'. Bearded iris have come and gone, but siberian
iris is blooming now and flag iris is starting.
What is blooming in Orange County, California? We won't move there until
fall, but I want to know what to plant so we'll have a succession of
blooms.
