Cheryl, lemon balm will grow ANYWHERE! Problem with mowing it is
that it looks awful until it recovers....I have a "hedge" of it along
the drive and that's sometimes my solution to cleaning it up when
I've waited too long in spring...it recovers (hard to kill it) but
looks so gross for about 2 weeks. No, I did not plant it there, but
it appeared from where ever I had the original plant and I've left
it...keep yanking it out bit by bit.
And it makes zillions of seeds....does smell nice, tho'.
