Bletilla striata hardiness?

Can anyone tell me about the hardiness of Bletilla striata?

What about the variegated one?

I found a stash of the straight species at a store here in town, as well
as a single mislabeled variegated one for about $6.  I'm wondering if they'll
make it here in zone 5b USDA...
