Nice to see you Marge. I think I will ask if anyone really, really truly,
has an edge idea that keeps the garden and lawn separate. Overtime we have
put down brick, dug trenched edging, used all kinds of stuff. Still, a
gardener and a tool is necessary in the end. I watched two guys in Kew
Gardens do it with a propane torch and and an edger that then defined the
line. There is now a propane torch/edger combination. We have, and use with
fear and trepidation, a weed whacker to clean up the edges. Sometimes the
plants disappear at the same time. Also this splendid tool starts only when
it feels like it or when the magician appears and sprays it with interesting
stuff that makes your eyes water.
What is wanted is a garden area and a lawn area and the easy possibility of
driving the lawn mower around and having an edge appear that looks good.
