Hello Nancy,
I knew this plant sounded familiar. Purchased it on impulse (how else??)
two years ago. You will not have any problems with growing it. I place mine
in decent soil along a path where it would be close up ... most dark colored
foliage is best close-up in my opinion. Mine is with a gold hosta, but I
like you companion better. Think I will use the painted fern "Ghost". More
to lime-green side and vase shaped, stiffly up right.
If you do not clip the insignificant blooms you will have seedlings
scattered about.
This is a "rabbit plant"... they seem to love it.
