ground hog question

Anyone out there an expert on ground hogs? Not on their eating habits!

I have one large, solitary hog that seems to be getting grey! He sits
on my front lawn nibbling weeds, until one of the kids decides it is
time to scare him off. He has a grey muzzle and grey/silver on his
back like a saddle. He also the only hog in my yard these days!
