Linda hit just about every place I was going to recommend. If you want to see
conifers, there's a nice collection in the arboretum at Mt. Airy Forest.
If you only visit one nursery, I'd make it Greenfield Plant Farm--more
perennials than I've seen anywhere in town and very reasonable prices. It is
a little north of Cincinnati, outside the Interstate beltway, but not hard to
get to. And I haven't yet been to Marvins Organic Gardens, which is also a
little north of town, but have heard great things about it. The owner will be
our speaker at our June meeting of the Daffodil Society. I've been told
they're also propagating lady slipper orchids.
