Italian Gardens

While we are waiting to hear about Colin's trip to Giverny and the flower
show, I have a query for the group.
I'm going to Italy in June and, of course, plan to visit as many gardens as
possible. I bought Penelope Hobhouse's book, The Garden Lover's Guide to
Italy, which tempts me with descriptions of over 100 magnificent gardens.
Time and my husband's patience won't allow me to see them all. We will be in
the Lake District in Northern Italy and will travel south with stops in
Venice, Cinque Terre, Tuscany, and Rome. Isola Bella and Boboli are already
on my must-see list. If anyone can recommend other gardens in or between
those areas, please do! --Janis
