Give it some shade and water in the summer and it will spread-mine send
runners that spread out about five feet in each direction from the "main"
group. They managed to kill off a group of small Hosta I had planted out a
few feet from a few "free range buttercups" that got out of their pots-they
hate growing in pots but want to move to another plants pot instead of
staying in there assigned places.
