Corydalis speciosa is as easy to grow as C.solida. It is a stronger grower
than George Baker and much larger, about the size of C. lutea.
Unfortunately is only lasts a couple of weeks since it is tuberous. The
name is not verified but was sold to me by Paul Christian as speciosa.
http://rareplants.co.uk/ I have had it for three years and it has not
produced seedlings yet. C. lutea is banished from my front garden because I
want to be able to spot the seedlings of any other species. It seems to be
reproducing corms at a decent rate, there are six large ones now. I assume
the rate of reproduction is proportional to the price. Speciosa is
relatively inexpensive. I am growing it under primrose conditions.
