All of these home remedies are good to know but unfortunately a sensitive
individual with a case on both arms and any near the mouth needs something
more. I have known the jewel-weed treatment all my life.
For those looking for Technu, I purchased it today in the chain drug store
called Rite-Aid. There are a lot of these in New York. There are three
packaging choices so I took them to the pharmacist and got the one used for
aftercare on his advice.
He also said that the product does not sell well because people would prefer
a prescription so the cost is lowered to that of their drug card. The same
preparation can be had by script from your doctor. There was a sale on
the one I purchased making the cost 5.99. There are quite a few medications
that are OTC plus by script so if you have a drug card you would probably use
a script to save money. Ours has limits and is 5.00 so there being so
little difference, I bought it OTC getting more medication for the sale.
Pharmacists love questions, this once was willing to explain all afternoon.
Mostly they are not asked questions in the US so if you buy Technu ask away
and make your pharmacist feel needed. They are allowed to consult in other
countries. We are funny about meds.
