Marilyn:
Been away for a week visiting Plant Delights Nursery in North Carolina and
others & just got your note on the Jack Russells. A friend a couple miles
away has a wholesale conifer nursery and ha sthree Jacks to keep the deer
away and he says they do their job with"gusto" and provide lotsa smiles for
the watchers ( me). Yet another friend with a wholesale daylilly farm also
has a Jack and she does quite well also. Now I'm not sure I could have one
as he/she would, I'm afraid, dig up all my plants. We do have a black lab
but she is a little too emotional.........chases the deer into the next
county , the gets lost.
BTW, i just read something in the local paper about a Dube............forget
what it was. Any relation? And, you're much too young to have a grown son
on the right coast :>)
