Well Leslie, I didn't see enough....I brought home way too much....and wish I
had bought out every plant I saw......................but,IMHO the Lewis
Ginter Botanical Graden in Richmond,Va and BrookGreen Sculpture Gardens in
Murrells Inlet (Myrtle Beach) ,S.C. are a must if you're in the area.
Ready for planting are a few hostas, ferns, asarums, variegated geranium,
spigelia, Ilex Dwarf Pagoda, Partnocissus tricuspidata 'Fenway Park' , a
great Yellow form that'll brighten up a wall or treee before choking it to
oblivion( hopefully after I'm gone).
I wish I had room for some woodies, but that's another trip, another day.
If in Raleigh area, drive down( or up) to Sanford and Visit Big Bloomers a
nursery with all plants in greenhouses and nost varieties priced at $2, $4, &
$6 for a 2,4,6 inch pot; the real deal is if it grows, they probably have it.
Wow, what a fun place.
Speaking of fun did I mention the tire blowout? fan/steering/AC belt
failure? Excitement on all fronts.
Enjoyed the local cuisine, but now my clothes don't fit too well. My wife
will fix that little problem.
In Bucks County, Pa, Walter doin a little plantin and off to MG plant sale as
worker and maybe Ill just acquire a few new cuties.........
