it's a runner! I've had decent luck before controlling runners by planting them in sunken pots.

Well I am glad you are discussing this before I planted mine. I purchased a small start last week, still sitting in it's 4" pot on the side of the house. How much does it grow in one season? Is it seeding around or just underground runner type?
