lots of scent in the leaves, stem - perilla (sp!). It is edible, but even I couldn't eat that much!

I wish I knew the name of this plant that was sold as an annual from China, great deep purple leaves, ruffled, grows to about 20 inches, by a local nursery here. I would warn everyone never to buy it! It may be an annual, but one plant 5 years ago still has a thousand seedlings popping up this season! URGH! But I have to admit, it is pretty....
