Don't make the mistake I made of using white linen though, if you want
to put it in the dryer. The clothes wet it, and then the damp draws
out a yellow-brown stain. A dark colored lavender or a cotton print
would be better.

For those of you who are lavender fans who were thinking of trying the
new-ish Spanish lavender that's recently hit stores in our area, if
you want to *use* your lavender blossom for sachets and things, DON'T
try the new Spanish. Stick to munstead and augustifolia. The Spanish
flowers are huge and showy. beiing three times the size of the
standard and very dark, but they have NO scent at all. The leaves
still do have scent though, just not the flowers.

They'd be fine for their looks in the garden

Melissa.
