Odd weather, indeed. There was an article in the Janesville, WI newspaper
this morning about the cold, no snow winter we had and how it has affected
plant survival. I had die-back on several unexpected things such as Blue
Stocking Monarda, Red Twig and Yellow Dogwood and Mockorange shrubs, but not
on other plants that I thought were of borderline hardiness. It's hard to
figure out.
Otherwise - I love May: warm days, cool nights, NO mosquitoes!!!!
