Chlorine bleach and ammonia poured into a washing machine will create a
loud noise and a toxic cloud rises. Guess how I know. It gave me a raw
throat for a few days and probably a good thing I wasn't standing
directly over the bowl .
There's probably adequate ventilation outside but I wouldn't get too
close with the ammonia!

Anyone heard of this before? And is there any reason not to do this,
like the ammonia and the chlorine from the pool water mixing somehow and
making a deadly chemical?
