>Can I do that now or wait until after bloom or am I stuck until fall?
I missed the earlier part of this message so I'm not sure what's wrong with
the plant where it is. If it's the wrong color, Mrs. Greenthumbs said,
"just cut the flowers off and use them in the house and no-one will ever
know that you goofed."
I'll throw a non-scientific suggestion in the pile--I garden by the moon and
only move plants under earth and water moons. Use the fire and air moons
for killing work--weeding, pruning to control growth, lawn mowing, etc. I
moved a 50-yo camellia bush under a Pisces moon in December. It was
bare-root by the time we finally got it out of the ground. (Making way for
a construction project.) Dropped it in its new hole, and dang if it isn't
coming back. I was pretty sure we'd killed it (not a whole lot of 8' around
plants make it after a bare-root transfer, but there was no way to get a
tree-spade in with the gasline right there), but I don't discount the
Piscean moon contribution.
Check the farmer's almanac if you're interested.
