I went back to that place with the $2.50 perennials and loaded up on some more! A friend wanted to buy me some, so who am I to turn down free plants? Here's what I grabbed today: 2 Alchemilla mollis 'Thriller' 1 Anchusa capensis 'Blue Angel' 2 Astible simplicifolia 'Hennie Granfland' 2 Ceratostigma plumbaginoides 2 Dianthus gratianopolitanus 'Tiny Rubies' 1 Echinacea 'Pow Wow White' 2 Echinacea 'Pow Wow Wild Berry' 1 Geranium 'Johnson's Blue' 1 Hosta 'Ann Kulpa' 1 Hosta 'Dream Queen' 1 Hosta 'Patriot' 1 Hosta 'Wide Brim' 2 Iris sibirica 'Snow Queen' 1 Rudbeckia fulgida var. sullivantii 'Goldsturm' 1 Rudbeckia hirta 'Marmalade' 1 Sedum reflexum 'Blue Spruce' 1 Sedum spectabile 'Pink Bomb' 1 Silene dioica 'Clifford Moor' 1 Silene uniflora 'Druett's Variegated' 2 Waldsteinia ternata Probably 1/2 of these are plants that I've grown before and killed (usually the dogs did it), another 1/4 are plants that I just want more of, and the rest are 'why not'. Anyhow, I thought I'd share. Who else has new plants? I know Kitty shared her list; anyone else?
