I've tried hepatica with not much luck. I've been meaning to get Dicentra cucullaria. Since I lost most of my shade I can't buy much of that sort of thing now until my trees get bigger.
I just remembered that, in addition to those I mentioned earlier, I also placed an order w Garden Vision for
Gentiana 'True Blue'
(I've never had luck w Gentians but will try again.

I think the Dicentra were disinterred by squirrels; any advice?  Small wire cages buried over them once they go dormant?

Hepatica have also been fairly short-lived for me.  I love them, but they usually only last a couple of seasons.
