I have a wonderful (and even planned!) combination going
with the following:
backdrop of Rhododendron 'White Lights' (white fragrant blooms)
Karen's azalea offset to the left (fuschia blooms)
A grouping of three large, lush green-leaved hostas in front
Heucherella 'Bridget Bloom' rising from between the hostas (rose-pink)
Leucojum aestivum (spring snowflake) in front, between the Karen's
azalea and hostas (white)
I also have an excellent combination in the back under the pine
trees with
Karen's azalea as a backdrop (fuschia blooms)
Phlox divaricata 'Clouds of Perfume' (light blue)
Tiarella wherryi (white)
I'll send some from the front of the house when I go out there. :)
Chris
