Trying to stimulate conversation!

Wow, you can sure tell its garden season! The
posts have been slowing down!

In an effort to stimulate some conversaion, can
anyone share some particularly pretty spring
combinations?

My two pics were a creeping veronica "Georgia
Blue" that blooms in March, with mini daff
"Tete a Tete" coming up THROUGH the
veronica in my rock garden. Pic #2 is 36"
yellow and pink tulips "Blushing Lady" behind
my pink bleeding heart. The definite winners.

The downside to this El Nino in my area is
we've had 3 days of 90 degree heat at the end of
April. This has basically obliterated the dutch
iris, tulips, etc., that were newly opened. The
roses mostly love it, but I've lost most of the
seedling annuals I had just put out about 2
weeks ago. Even with water, they just couldn't
take the heat.

Looking forward to others' great spring combos.
