Hi,
I just dug up two clumps of iris that were in the wrong place at the
wrong time. I have cleaned, washed, dried and separated the rhizomes,
cut the roots, cut back the foliage to a 4 inch fan. A gardening group
is going to have a plant sale on May 16th, 12 days from now. Can I just
store the dry rhizomes in a cardboard box in a cool location or do I
have to heel them in for the 12 days? What's your advice? - plz respond
to both the perennial list and to me privately at
TREBOR@CENTURYINTER.NET
Thanks for your help.
