Hello,
I noticed we are not changing subject lines when our messagae has
nothing to do with the subject line stated on our e-mails. "Bishop's
Gout and other weeds" has been used many times with no reference to
Bishop's Gout or weeds. I receive the digest form of Perennials and
generally scroll on past subjects that do not pertain to my area or
plants. I have probably missed many good postings because I do this but
my line to my server is very overused and I try to get on and off as
soon as possible. I also do this because my time at home after work and
in the AM is pretty hectic.
I have some lovely columbines blooming now that I raised from seed. I
planted them last spring and they had to fend for themselves. They did
very well. Pink and blue bloom side by side and are very pleasing to
the eye. I started some columbine in the sunroom this spring and will
plant it at our new property when we have the irrigation water hooked up
again. I have noticed some cosmos has reseeded in the yard as well as
larkspur. They are not blooming yet. Digitalis I grew from seed has a
bloom stalk on it. I just love spring! It is so exciting to see new
things every day in the garden.
I believe I have had questions answered that I hadn't even asked yet so
I guess we all have much the same problems. I think one of the most
useful tools I have found is the seed germination base that I learned
about on the seed list. Our listmaster is certainly on the ball in
providing useful data to us.
