I grew this plant last year as it was introduced to the market as a new
introduction from Europe. I thought it was perfectly lovely as it began
to bloom, but it took an awfully long time to begin to bloom.
The plant stem itself continued to elongate and never seems inclined to
branch.
I wasn't impressed with OUR growing technique, and made a point to see
it at the Field Trials where professionals who were familiar with it
were growing it at it's best.
They couldn't grow it any better than I, and I elected to not grow it
this year.
Perhaps you'll do better.
One thing, is your sun is more intense than ours, and your bloom
potential could be substantially better than ours.
Good luck.
