Many thanks to all who responded regarding above.  I think it's pretty
too, and plan to leave it be.  I wasn't sure, with all the *garden
police* list traffic lately, if it might be a noxious weed, or something
like the loosestrife epidemic.  It certainly isn't plentiful here, as I
asked numerous knowledgeable people to identify it and they couldn't.

So, perhaps in this case, it IS rare and collectible  . . . . hee hee hee

Thanks for your generosity . . .that's my favorite thing about gardeners.
