Hi,
I'm new to this list and amazingly, the first item is Lamb's Ears, and I have
a question too!
I have two types. the Byzantina, which is quite tall and then I guess not the
lanata, as mine are just little ears sticking up out of the ground. I don't
think they're 1 foot tall. I suppose I'll have to go out and measure. They
are wonderfully soft and fuzzy. They must have really good drainage; they
don't spread very quickly and they're a terrific backdrop to pink roses and
blue salvias. However, they are really short and unless I change them, I'll
have a large flat area in the center of some tall roses and phlox. So I'm not
sure yet how I'll use them.
They've been growing for about 18 months and they area is maybe 2' x 3'. I
haven't dried them and I understand they dry very well.
If lanata is 1', what are these?
Thanks,
Margaret
Gulf Coast and sweating.
