Just write it into your contract. Mine specifically said that the daylily,
hosta, wildflower, and daffodil collections were not included in the sale.
The buyers weren't gardeners and they didn't really care, but thought me a
little odd. Odder still that we closed in February but also specific leaving
in May when plants were up far enough to dig and move, and daffodil foliage
ripened somewhat. Took a week to dig everything and two weeks to plant them
back in the new location. Now I am going to stay in this garden until my last
days. Don't want to go through that again, and it would be much worse today
because with more space the collections are much larger.
