Out of approximately $2,000 I've spent in reference books, only one gets
used to the point that I've had to duct tape it together, and finally
spring for another copy.
Right Plant, Right Place by Nicola Ferguson. It has over 1,500 COLOR
pictures, classed by it's growth requirements and cross indexed. It
lists botanical name, common name, sun requirements, type of plant
(hardy tree, half hardy annual, hardy shrub), flowering season, flower
color, height, additional merits, and then gives a breif description of
the plant charactor.
It is the inspiration of what I choose to grow!

BEST OF ALL ...... IT'S ONLY $18!!!!

It is most pertainent to the Pacific NW, as the book is from Britain.
