Re: perennials DIGEST V2 #396


I'm in zone 8 in Austin, Texas and I have read do not even try peonies in
Texas unless you live in Amarillo. The summer heat is just too much for
them. I read that in a book specifically for growing plants in Texas, but I
am sure that advice would apply to Louisiana as well. Take solace in azaleas.
