Hi!
I've been lurking for a while, but I have to tell you about my rue experience.
I bought the seeds for the variegated rue that is available from T&M, it's
called 'Harlequin.' The first season it grew very well, nice size to the
plant, good branching, finely cut leaves, but NO VARIEGATION. I overwintered
one in my demonstration garden at the shop and several spent the winter
outside in their pots under an opaque plastic. This spring the new growth on
the plants has been fantastic and the variegation is there in full force.
Everyone stops to comment and I'm very pleased with the plants -- and glad I
had enough patience to wait for the reward. Just my tale of variegated rue
from seed. I'd certainly try it again.
