Re: Is this the only part of the country that's early?...& weird!


Not only early, but very strange!  My ground is so saturated with water from
all the rain, that most of everything planted is green, but little bloom!
Hopefully, the next week we will get some sun and heat to go with it to dry us
out!
Had a few days of warmth-dryness, and got some annuals in the ground, and they
are doing well, looking a little water logged early this AM, but OK.
My buddelia is just starting to bud, and I was worried it wouldn't come back!
I did prune a little early this spring, just the old wood, and thought I went
to far!  Both are doing well, my carnations are blooming just great , and look
pretty in soft pink and soft yellow.
My large containers can't keep up with the rain though, and are looking
drowned!  I have almost taken the power drill out to make more holes for
drainage, but so far have held off.  Hopefully they will be OK, as I spent way
to much in bulbs and plants!
