Oooh, sorry. Save your receipt?
Can't cite anything specific, heard it on the
organic gardening list. Want their address to
pose your question? It was my understanding
things were turning yellow and becoming
unhealthy. I don't use anything chemical
because of cats and wildlife, so I can't comment
personally.

Hi Susan,
In what way are the woody plants being
affected? Is there
an article somewhere that talks about this, or
is just sort
of a word of mouth thing?
I really like to mix woody plants in with my
perennial beds --
using things like Arctostaphylos uva-ursi
(bearberry) and Gaultheria
procumbens (wintergreen). I've also got
some Amorpha canescens
(leadplant) and Ceanothus (obovatus?
americanus? can't remember)
(New Jersey tea) in the beds, as well as the
standard backdrop
of trees/shrubs/vines.
Any word on it affecting perennials?
Thanks,
Chris (who just bought 20 pounds of the stuff)
