We do the same thing, although in our case it's Roy's garden - I've only
found one with his name . . . . . Roy's Yellow day lillies, which are
blooming as I speak.

I don't know of any other Kara's flowers, but I would like to suggest a
fun plant for kids - the sensitive plant.  I think it's a mimosa of some
type.  One touches the *ferny* leaves and they close up instantly. He
brings his friends over to stroke the leaves and watch them close and
they giggle at the plant's antics.

My 6 yo son loves to garden and can identify all the plants in our yard. 
He's a great little helper when people stop to admire . . . I just let
him take over and give the *tour*. <proud smile>
