Bill,
A few years ago, all of the seed companies were selling seeds for a shasta
called 'Snow Queen'. They were definately annuals. My greatest success with
shastas is to keep growing different kinds of seeds and eventually you will
get a real perennial. I have had great success with 'Polar Star'. You do
need to keep dividing them every few years or they will die out in the center.
If I can remember to check tomorrow I will look at the labels on my other
shastas and report back to you. I am drawing a blank and I know that I have 3
varieties including 'Polar Star'. Donna
